Harmonies will ring out from the former Greenwood United Church, recently converted into a performance space for Theatre Baddeck, with a Cape Breton duo, a multi-instrumental, multi-lingual trio, and a pair of dancers from Antigonish. RoSa is an acoustic duo featuring sisters Em, who was named ECMA Musician of the Year for 2026, and Jenifer Dingwall. Recognized for their seamless sibling harmonies, RoSa’s sound is rooted in the musical traditions of the East Coast, blending contemporary folk with subtle Celtic influences. We are delighted to welcome the beloved Antigonish folk trio of Heather MacIsaac, John Pellerin, and Mary Beth Carty to Baddeck this afternoon. Their combination of small pipes, violin, and accordion, with each instrument given a moment to share its unique tone and harmony, is balanced with wistful songs and inspired solo step dance to provide a sublime listening experience.
